The consultancy was given to commercial unit ACC, Agrotech (A group of ACC Cements at Nagpur) and revenue was generated for the Centre. The Maharashtra State Agricultural Marketing Board has started assistance to the farmers in exporting Nagpur mandarin. The Citrus King mandarin Pvt.Ltd. Warud (Amravati District, a farmers company and MSAMB have exported the fruit to Dubai during 2001-2002 financial year and received good prices. In coming season, in January-February 2003, the demand for this fruit is up to fifty containers. The contract research was given for Bayer’s India Limited, Mumbai.
