Born on 5 th June,1973 at Guamal in Bhadrak district of Orissa. Er. P. Panigrahi obtained B. Tech (Agricultural Engineering)and M. Tech (Agricultural Engineering) with specilisation Soil and Water conservation Engineering from Orissa University of Agriculturre and Technology, Bhubaneswar in 1996 and 1998, respectively. He was recipient of National Scholarship from Intermediate (Science) up to B. Tech (Agricultural Engineering) and University Scholarship during M. Tech (Agricultural Engineering). He was the University gold medallist in M. Tech (Agricultural Engineering). He joined in Indian Council of Agriculture and Research as Scientist (soil and water conservation Engineering) on 11 th September, 2001 at National Research Centre for Citrus, Nagpur, Maharastra. Before joining A.R.S, he worked in different research projects as Research Associate. |

He has the research experience in drip irrigation in different horticultural crops, solar pumping system, soil moisture conservation, water harvesting and its management through micro-irrigation, in-situ rain water harvesting, soil and nutrients conservation in citrus based watershed. He has around 20 publications to his credit till date. He is also the life member of different scientific societies such as Indian Association of Soil and Water Conservationists, Dehradun, Indian Association of Agricultural Engineers, New Delhi and Indian Association of Citriculture, Nagpur.
