Currently working as Senior Scientist (Horticulture) in Post Harvest technology at National Research Centre for Citrus, Nagpur, Maharashtra. Obtained BSc. (Ag), MSc (Horticulture) with specialization in Post harvest technology and PhD (Horticulture) with specialization in Pomology from Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi.
The post harvest mangement practices including irradiation, waxol, drying temperature, humidity, media and chemicals for effecient storage of medicinal plant safed musli (Chlorophytum borivilianum) roots under NATP (CGP) project. . |

Conducted regular monitoring and evaluation of Krishi Vigyan Kendras of five states viz. Delhi, Haryana, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir under Zone- 1, by formulating the programmes of extension agencies for effective implementation of Transfer of Technologies for upliftment of farmer, including the difficult areas of Jammu and Kashmir.
Credited with 7 papers in peer reviewed international journals and 14 in national journals and 1 technical bulletin. Life member of three academic societies viz. Indian Science Congress, Calcutta, Horticultural Society of India, New Delhi, Indian Society of Citriculture, Nagpur. Reviewer of research papers for Indian journal of Agricultural sciences and Journal of Research ANGRAU. Appointed as paper setter and examiner of answer books for B.Sc. (Hort) at Maharana Pratap University of Agriculture & Technology, Udaipur, Rajasthan.
